About the toys

Each product contains its own character image, story setting, design concept and exclusive color schemes. Different models, sizes, colors, and firmness can be selected according to your preferences and needs, with a very detailed sense of customization.

Our sex toys are pure hand-made, and the final color mixing of each product is unique, it only belongs to you. Every toy is hand-crafted, meaning each toy is entirely unique. Your toy could have slight differences from what is pictured on our website. These are part of the artistic process of creating each adult toy by hand and it cannot be controlled. 

Each of our molds is handmade in a method that prevents seams, however as this is a hand-crafted object there may be slight indents or other very slight imperfections in the final, poured toy that will not affect your use.

All our toys and squishy sculptures are made of high-quality platinum cured silicone that has been tested and certified as skin safe, using only cosmetic-grade pigments. Our commitment to excellence means that you can enjoy using our toys with perfect peace of mind, every time.

What inspired the founding of Master4Fancy?

Hi, I'm Lulu, one of the co-founders of Master4Fancy. Back in 2017, my friends Lia Fish, Zhuozi, and I left an international project focused on sex and gender education to start our own independent account. One of our articles about kinky sex toys went viral!

Our followers showed strong interest, especially since fantasy sex toys and monster dildos were virtually nonexistent in China. At that time, most people especially women and the LGBTQ community, felt shy about their sexual fantasies—especially those outside traditional heteronormative norms—due to stigma and taboo.

As you know, traditional erotic culture leaves little room for women's and minority fantasies. We thought our followers’ enthusiasm was precious. So, we said, “Let’s make our own beautiful, creative toys!” And guess what? We actually did it!

In 2019, we launched Master4Fancy, China’s first original fantasy sex toy brand. We poured our energy and resources into creating a realm of “soulful” and aesthetically pleasing fantasy sex toys.

We believe fantasy toys empower women to explore their own desires—without needing to relate those desires to men or conventional anatomy. Plus, China has a rich mythology with various fantastical creatures, like dragons, foxes and snakes, making fantasy toys a beautiful way to embrace sexuality rather than just relying on basic designs.

Your designs are very unique—how important is it that the toys can also be seen as artistic objects?

Super important! Especially for women and queer folks! This is at the core of what we do. We have high standards for aesthetics; we want our toys to be delightful to look at and to make users feel special and valued! For too long, internal toys have been reduced to mere “male substitutes,” and most designs out there are pretty basic—just a flesh-colored stick expecting to ignite desire. We’re here to change that!

We don’t just create unique shapes; each toy has its own character and story. Think of Think of the Ovipositor "BLOOD MOON", who breaks free from captivity, or the Cyborg War Horse "BURNING SWORD" repurposed as a doomsday weapon, the dragon-bird "LING" with a Chinese martial arts vibe, and "Savigny" a female cryptid that can shoot liquid.

Each character has a backstory, and as long as you believe, they exist in some universe where you can meet them. Our toys become more than just sex toys—they’re collectibles and companions. Many fans display them proudly, like art pieces, in their homes.

Thanks to our beautiful designs and thoughtful concepts, people are increasingly willing to showcase their toys, marking a positive change. It shows that more young are embracing their sexual desires and shedding sexual shame. Displaying sex toys in personal spaces is becoming less of a taboo. It’s also a small act of rebellion in a repressive environment. Our toys can sit proudly at home or become social media stars, representing a form of expression and empowerment.

Are some of your friends and family judgmental about your startup?

My family is quite traditional and conservative, but they fully support me. They might not understand the sex toy business completely and may view it with some bias, but their love for me gives me the freedom to pursue my passions.

Another partner, Lia Fish, has a father who is a paranoid misogynist. When he found out she was in this line of work, he called her for over an hour, insulting her and calling her a whore. Lia’s decision to create a sex toy company is largely a way to rebel against her father , who is extremely misogynistic and abusive. He even gave her a boy's name and was very harsh with her. She’s experienced firsthand the harm that girls face in a misogynistic environment and wants to change that, especially since sexuality is one of the areas where women feel most restricted.

Zhuozi faced skepticism too. When her relatives heard about her job, they laughed, saying, “Women can’t do this! How can a company run without men?” Well, we’ve been proving them wrong for seven years! Despite the uncertain regulatory landscape, our journey has been miraculous. Over the years, we’ve built a supportive community of brave women and queer artists who help create and grow Master4Fancy. Sure, we face anxiety about what tomorrow might bring, but for now, we’re united in our efforts!

 

What role do you see e-commerce playing?

Thank goodness for e-commerce! It allows sex toys to reach customers easily and anonymously, reducing the shame associated with buying them in-store. Women no longer have to worry about being stared at, harassed, or followed when purchasing.

It also allows niche groups to find their preferred toys online, no matter where they are. E-commerce has really boosted the market for women's pleasure products and niche toys, making it one of the fastest-growing categories online in recent years. Without e-commerce, we small original companies without big funding might not survive.

E-commerce has sparked more discussions around sexual topics, and many customers reach out to us with questions like whether it's okay to use a toy for their first sexual experience or what to do if their parents find out about the toy and shame them for it.

Sometimes, it’s just easier to ask online than to seek advice from familiars.

 

What do you say to men who feel threatened by women buying and using sex toys?

We usually focus on addressing buyers' questions, there are plenty of men who come just to insult, cause trouble, or harass us. We rarely respond to them—we don’t want them to feel like they’re getting attention. They have already been given way too much of a platform!
